Band saws are machine tools used for cutting metals, profiles, pipes with certain characteristics or harder building materials.

manual or gravity belt: these offer greater control, as the blade must be operated and positioned directly by the operator;
semi-automatic belt: the movement of the arc is automated and the descent is speeded up by using a button;
